Director of the SCS Writing Lab & Assistant Teaching Professor (ELC)
About me
Sharla has taught in Georgetown's English Language Center (ELC) since 2016, and has been the Director of the SCS Writing Lab since 2017. In the ELC, she largely teaches oral skill classes, focusing on listening and speaking, as well as US academic skills like presentations and class discussions. In the Lab, she supports students in the School of Continuing Studies in their writing, providing students of all language backgrounds (including native English speakers) with the tools to improve their writing in class and beyond.
